Lovely, but this isn't a Carpet Viper. Carpet Vipers, aka "Saw-Scaled Vipers"(Echis carinatus), are small, drab-colored little snakes that blend in with a sandy desert evironment. This is a female Wagler's, or Temple Viper(Tropidolaemus wagleri), an arboreal species. Males of this species are brilliant lime green with white or reddish thin bands and don't look anything like this female.
